We’ve just finished watching the Ultimate Wedding Planner on television and my goodness the finalists really pulled out all the stops for the happy couple on their big day. Over the past few weeks, we have seen the wedding planner competitors grow and develop their wedding planning skills. They worked hard and obviously took the judges feedback onboard because what resulted in the final was simply spectacular. With only three days to prepare for the final wedding it just goes to show how capable these wedding professionals can be.

So, the question is, can you afford to plan your wedding without one? Well a little indulgence never hurt anyone but I think the answer lies in your own capabilities. If you are, by nature, an established and confident organiser and have a clear picture in your mind as to how your day will go and what it is you want then you probably don’t need a planner.
